Topping the list is Forever21. with new stores opening across the country, seems like F21 is taking charge of the fashion industry with its low cost fashion. Last year F21 debuted its plus size line called Faith 21, and is now working it's way into the tween/kids fashions. The retailer has become more popular with the bad economy F21 offers fashionable pieces in affordable prices for everyone. Another forecast in fashion for 2010, is all things Alice. Alice in Wonderland remake by Time Burton will be released in the Spring. The movie brings us fashion inspiration of Alice, and all its characters. Article speaks of designer who will be unveiling or having collections inspired by the beloved characters of Carroll Lewis Alice in Wonderland. Home shopping networks have grown in popularity as well and the LA Times article reminds us of all the designer collection available. Many designers have collaborated with home shopping based retailers like QVC & HSN to offer their designs exclusively. Gone are the days of home shopping networks selling tacky ceramics and useless gadgets. Today you can buy everything from fashionable clothing, shoes, accessories, make-up & everything in between. This new decade seems promising on the fashion horizon, especially for plus size fashion. I am looking forward to all the great things to come. Since I started this blog in March 2009, I have learned about so many great designer and retailers for plus size fashion that I did not know existed. I have grown this past year and have become more confident in my style and what I wear. I hope to continue to blog about new fashions and designers for plus size.
