Today I wore my second look of the InStyle Inspiration; cargo vest. I call it my cube chic look. Working in an office and being confined to a cubicle isn't always the best place to express your fashion sense. My office is very business casual and some people are way more casual than business. I try to maintain my style while yet looking some what professional, let me tell ya not always easy. When I saw the Look 2 of the InStyle cargo vest, it screamed office chic to me.
While I only own the cargo vest from this look, I substituted a few pieces from my wardrobe to make it work. Didn't have a graphic pencil skirt, so I wore a black skirt with some ruffle details. Didn't have a white button down shirt, so I wore a white top with 3/4 sleeves. No black heels for me either, after my ankle sprain this summer, I stay off anything higher than 2 inches. I wore some black tights because it was a chilly day with black oxfords. As much as I love wearing the cargo vest, not sure if I will do this look again. I think the vest is a bit too long to wear with skirts. If it was short it may work better. I think leggings and jeans work better for this vest and my style. So here you go my look 2 with cargo vest inspired by the InStyle magazine. What do you think of my cube chic look?
