Ah Vegas how I love thee...It really is one of my favorite cities to visit. Lucky for me Las Vegas is a short 4 hour drive from California. I know most people like to fly in from California, but the drive is nice and scenic through the dessert. I like to drive and just soak it all in, plus if I fly into Vegas that means less shopping. Hello why else would I go to Vegas!! Yes, shopping is one of the main attractions in for Vegas, well for me any how. So I need all the trunk space for all my packages. There is so much more to Las Vegas other than gambling in the casinos. I was invited to join in a Vegas style challenge from Vegas.com and Aria Resort and Casino.
The challenge is show my style transitioning through out the day while enjoying a stay at the Aria hotel. The Aria is located right in the center of the Las Vegas Strip and is one the newest luxury resorts in Vegas.
Here are three different looks I would wear during my stay at the Aria.
Shopping In Vegas by cidstylefile
One of my favorite things to do in general is shopping, but shopping in Vegas is on a whole different level. The Aria is located right next door to The Crystals, a shopping and entertainment complex. This is probably one of the most architecturally beautiful malls I have ever seen. Not only is it stunning to look at but it really has all the best high end retailers in the world. I would spend my afternoon shopping, (mostly window shopping) and enjoying the beautiful environment. Have some lunch and coffee and get my first day started. Since visiting Vegas involves lot of walking, I'd make sure to have some comfy shoes. So I went a pair of "Birk" like sandals, pair of white jeans and kimono to keep cool in the hot Vegas weather. Add some cool sunglasses and minimal jewelry, like a "LA" necklace to represent my hometown. So what do you think of my shopping outfit.
You can't go to Vegas and not spend some time by the pool. That's one of my other favorite things to do in Vegas, lounging by the pool sipping on a fruity drink!! Aria Hotel has the Liquid Pool Lounge, a perfect spot to just take in some sun and relax after a long day of shopping. I am not much of a swimmer so most likely my time will be spent laying by the pool, with a drink and a magazine. I'd wear a cover up like this dress, with a swimsuit underneath just in case I get tempted to go for a dip in the pool. A pair of cute sandals, with sunnies and a straw hat to protect me from the sun. Don't forget a tote bag to carry all your things down to the pool. What do you think of my poolside outfit?
The Aria is home to Zarkana one of many Cirque du Soleil, shows in Vegas. Going to a show in Vegas is a must, there are hundreds of shows nightly and Cirque du Soleil shows are the best in town. After a nice dinner at Lemongrass, we would head off to the show. I'd wear a nice but simple dress, add some fun accessories with a clutch and earrings. Smokey eye with a subtle lipstick shade and my signature fragrance. You never know if you might be in the mood to head out to a club after the show, so your outfit should be ready for anything Vega has to offer.
Which outfit did you like best?
What is your favorite thing to do in Vegas?

I grew up in St. George, which is 2 hours away from Vegas. I'm not much of a shopper, but I do love going to Vegas to wander up and down the strip. And, occasionally, I'll wander around some of the casino shops because there really are a lot of fabulous things in them.
ReplyDeleteI really like your poolside outfit. It's really cute!
Thanks Erin, my friends laugh at me because when I go to Vegas its for shopping and eating. I hardly ever gamble at all, but yup I love just wondering around the Strip and people watch :)
